- One-line summary: harem anime
- I've since finished it and... it's fun, but stronger in the early episodes. I'd be cautious if they made a second season.
It's an old-fashioned harem anime, but how trashy will it get?
Takuma Akutsu lives with nine Valkyries and is under orders to make them fall in love with him. Love will save the world! It makes Valkyries stronger! (You might expect romance to be more effective when nine girls aren't all sharing the same bloke, but welcome to harem anime.) Surprisingly, though, so far it's quite good. Takuma has a menacing face and even teachers are terrified of him, which has paradoxically given him a phobia of people. He thinks he wants to spend the rest of his life alone. He'd like all these aggressive girls to leave, so that he can read some nice, reassuring school textbooks... but he's too scared of them to say anything.
That's a funny premise. The girls are a laugh and Takuma's endearing, like a pathetic Frankenstein's monster. It's also innocent (so far), although there's immense sleaze potential. I'll watch this one.

- One-line summary: Viking historical
Everyone says it's really good. It has strong character writing and references to Erik the Red. This is a sincere, well-written episode and far better than I'd expected...
...but, well, they're Vikings. The episode starts with lots of them killing each other in battle. I got bored. I'm reminded of my reaction to Robert Zemeckis's 2007 Beowulf, which demonstrated that these Dark Age guys were basically cavemen when it comes to interesting characterisation. See thing. Hit thing with sword. Talk about sword thing sword sword hit. This episode is nowhere near that level and indeed has some interesting character work, but we'll clearly be seeing lots of Viking kill-fests and I'll be waiting for them all to die.

- One-line summary: VTuber skits
A talking horse explains about Virtual Town, a CGI environment where VTubers play themselves. There's Hime Tanaka, Hina Suzuki, Siro, Hinata Nekomiya, Akari Mirai and Mito Tsukino.
VTuber is short for "Virtual YouTuber" and refers to YouTubers who present their videos through animated CGI characters. The episode's lots of random skits. It's tedious and unpleasant to look at it, but there will be more shows like it since it's cheap to make and has a built-in audience.
