People are raining from the sky and she doesn't seem to notice. The first episode has a slightly disturbing twist (and I don't just mean her head through 900 degrees.) Neneki's hobbies include rape and suicide... and then comes the story's punchline.

This series ends up creepy as hell. Not initially, but it does quite a lot of growth in that direction.
