THE GOOD = I like the art. It's lively, free and has lots of expression in its faces.

THE REST OF IT = oh dear. It's a globetrotting series about a girl who travels the world and imparts wisdom about the countries she visits. However, she starts in the UK and what we see of the country felt so unconvincing that it immediately killed the book for me.

Birmingham city centre looks implausibly grim, as if this is the Third World. We do, though, see one of the Queen's favourite dogs and get mentions of Brexit and British-Irish history. A man in a pub randomly pulls a gun on the bartender while saying "shite" a lot, as if this version of the UK comes primarily from comics written by Garth Ennis. (I love Ennis's work, but not so much this.)

It's just wrong. Nope, not interested, don't care.
