It has a Japanese dub, but it's a Chinese anime based on a 4-panel gag strip. Each episode is only a few minutes long... but it's also quite fun, so Crunchyroll bundled the episodes together and gave it an international release.
It's about supernatural beings (often horror-based ones) living together harmlessly in the human realm. Their landlord is an angel and their address is 1031 All Saints Street. No one ever gets hurt, killed, blood-drained or anything else. It's just amusing character interaction with a supernatural spin and a simple, pleasant art style. Children would enjoy it. Our heroes are:
1. DEMONS WHOSE NAMES START WITH "N". Neil ("Ni-Ni") is a lovable sheep. He's incapable of being demonic and could never hurt anyone or do anything mean (except during that personality-change thing). He's the protagonist and you'll love him. His brother Nick is a comedy scumbag.
2. ANGELS WHOSE NAMES START WITH "L". Lynn the landlord is an unsmiling, unfriendly git, although not a bad person. He becomes surprisingly likeable when we see how much he cares about his sister Lily, who couldn't be more adorable. She thinks supernatural horror monsters are lovely, cool and her best friends. She makes a perfect pair with Ni-Ni and you'd scream in disbelief if they didn't become a romantic couple. (It hasn't happened yet, but surely that's a matter of time. They also have deeper similarities. People say Lily doesn't behave like an angel, while Ni-Ni regards himself as a failure as a demon. "But no matter how I tried, I couldn't do anything bad.")
3. VAMPIRES WHOSE NAMES SURPRISINGLY START WITH DIFFERENT LETTERS. Ira's a vampire from an aristocratic British family who ran away from home and is now a layabout gamer who likes to stay indoors. He's friendly and is never seen to attack victims, instead sitting down to dinner with everyone and apparently eating in the usual way, leaving food stains on a plate. His weird siblings appear at one point.
Other characters include a Russian werewolf, a mute mummy who appears to be Egyptian (his ethnicity is appropriate and he's called Abu), an American zombie who wants to be an actor and a hard-drinking Nekomata (Japanese cat yokai) who terrifies the others because she's such a bad drunk.
I'm not normally the biggest fan of horror monsters that don't hurt anyone, vampires who don't drink blood, etc. This, though, is so light and amiable that it works. It's charming. It also hasn't forgotten that its supernatural heroes have powers and peculiarities. Angel sibling relationships are really strange, so Lynn was assigned his sister Lily at school and they're not actually blood related. Demons can change gender. (Nick does it more often and likes becoming a sexy girl, but Ni-Ni once did it as a party trick and was cuter.)
It's nice. Most of its episodes are merely amusing, but Ni-Ni and Lily get character beats that make you care about them as a couple. The art's simple, but good at expressing character. (I can't get over how effective Lily's character design is.) It's definitely worth a look.
